About the role
We are looking for a senior finance leader to take full ownership of our financial operations and strategy during a six-month interim period. You will manage our capital strategy, prepare the company for future funding, and oversee the operational launch of our United States entity while we conduct a search for a permanent CFO.

What you'll do
- Direct our capital strategy and refine our equity narrative, including the management of non-equity facilities.
- Handle investor relations and prepare the company for future funding rounds, including data room management and audit readiness for Big Four firms.
- Execute the operational setup of our US entity, covering legal, tax, and banking requirements for our Texas launch.
- Oversee ERP integration and ensure financial data flows effectively to stakeholders.
- Improve our financial systems and reporting processes to ensure a smooth transition for the permanent CFO.
- Contribute to revenue strategy and the growth of our third-party infrastructure model.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive role at a venture-backed scale-up.
- Direct involvement in at least one funding round at the Series B stage or higher.
- Experience managing international entity expansion, specifically within the US market.
- Demonstrated ability to own and optimize ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Ability to commit to a 3-day-per-week schedule for a 6-month duration.
- Capacity to begin the engagement immediately.

- Background in regulated markets, energy, or complex commodities.
- Experience in risk management and communicating risk structures to investors.
- Familiarity with AI-native finance team structures.
- Capability to lead a funding round independently.

Practical notes
This role is remote, though you should be available for in-person collaboration with the leadership team when necessary. The interview process consists of an initial 30-minute talent screen, a 60-minute deep dive with the CEO, and a 60-minute working session with leadership stakeholders.
