What you'll do
- Design and implement comprehensive identity and access management solutions that meet the specific needs of clients across various industries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective IAM strategies and architectures.
- Conduct assessments of existing IAM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational requirements.
- Lead the integration of IAM solutions with existing enterprise systems, applications, and cloud services to enhance security and streamline user access.
- Monitor and analyze IAM performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
- Provide expert guidance and support to development teams on IAM-related projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Stay updated on the latest IAM technologies, trends, and threats to proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to promote IAM awareness and best practices.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure IAM solutions are integrated with broader security frameworks and initiatives.
- Participate in incident response activities related to identity and access management breaches or anomalies.
- Mentor junior IAM professionals and contribute to their professional development within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on architecture and design.
- Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, protocols (such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and technologies.
- Experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or ForgeRock.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to IAM, including GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST standards.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cloud computing environments and their integration with IAM solutions is a plus.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar credentials.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, particularly in relation to IAM automation.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with data governance and privacy frameworks.
