Sr. Tech Operations Manager

About the role

Taboola is seeking a Senior Tech Operations Manager to join our Technology Operations team in Tel Aviv. You will manage R&D processes, lead strategic cross-functional projects, and implement scalable workflows to support our global engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Establish and maintain operational cadences, dashboards, and tracking systems to improve R&D visibility and decision-making.
• Manage the PI domain for the technology department by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and reporting status to leadership.
• Coordinate with Product, Finance, HR, and R&D stakeholders to align priorities and manage project dependencies.
• Execute cross-functional initiatives from initial planning through final delivery.
• Analyze development workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that increase transparency and predictability.
• Develop internal tools using automation, AI, or low-code/no-code solutions to streamline reporting and planning.
• Create programs and forums that foster engagement and professional growth within the developer community.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in R&D Operations, Technology Operations, Engineering Operations, or Program/Project Management.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, including release readiness, planning, and execution.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives within a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using Excel or Google Sheets for data-driven reporting.
• Practical experience building operational workflows using automation, AI tools, or lightweight scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a global technology or R&D organization.
• Background in improving developer productivity or implementing AI-enabled operational processes.
