About the role

Taboola is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our New York finance department. You will contribute to our financial operations by managing core accounting tasks and supporting the monthly closing cycle under the guidance of the Finance Manager.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Execute monthly closing procedures, including financial data reconciliation and reporting.
• Manage revenue and cost of revenue close tasks, such as bad debt expense calculations and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable duties, including invoice processing, payment runs, and US employee expense report reviews.
• Create journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank transactions and record corresponding entries.
• Oversee fixed asset subledger tasks, covering depreciation, disposals, and additions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to verify customer account accuracy.
• Uphold internal controls to maintain precise and timely financial documentation.
• Provide general operational support for the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Understanding of US GAAP and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Netsuite.
• Background in public accounting or working for a public company.
• Current CPA license or progress toward certification.
• Familiarity with Jira, Salesforce, Custodia, or Payoneer.
