Pediatrician Contractor

About the role

Swordhealth is hiring pediatricians to deliver clinical care directly to families via our digital platform. You will manage patient cases, provide medical guidance, and coordinate treatment plans within our 24/7 care model.

What you'll do

• Offer clinical support and advice to parents regarding their children.
• Evaluate patient cases and determine necessary actions, including issuing prescriptions or setting follow-up care.
• Communicate member feedback to our product and clinical departments to refine our service.

Requirements

• Medical degree (Mestrado Integrado em Medicina) as a fully qualified pediatrician or a final-year pediatric resident (interno de pediatria).
• Current medical license (cédula profissional) from the Ordem dos Médicos with independent prescribing authority.
• Professional background in pediatrics, with preference for early childhood experience.
• Ability to provide clear, empathetic, and professional written communication through digital chat.
• Availability for rotating shifts, covering evenings and weekends to support our 24/7 operations.
• Native or fluent proficiency in Portuguese for all member interactions.

Skills & tools

• AI Proficiency: Must meet at least Level 1 (Explorer) of our AI framework, which requires using AI daily to improve personal productivity.

Practical notes

• Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold a valid EU visa.
• This position does not provide relocation assistance.
