Sr. Partner Operations Manager at Sword Health
About the role
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational success of a group of partner relationships. You will ensure the smooth functioning of these partnerships through configuration, billing, integrations, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational discipline and the ability to independently manage complex, multi-party collaborations.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the operational aspects of your assigned partner portfolio, including setup, data exchanges, invoicing, and reporting.
- Oversee the onboarding and continued operational management of new and existing partners, coordinating internal teams to meet deadlines.
- Resolve partner-level issues by collaborating with sales, product, client and data operations, and customer success teams.
- Prepare for and lead business reviews with partners.
- Act as the primary daily operational contact for partners and their customers.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure partner relationships function effectively and to identify potential risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing intricate operational processes for external partners or clients, such as billing, system integrations, data feeds, or similar technical functions.
- Ability to navigate unclear situations with various internal and external parties, making decisions without explicit guidance for every scenario.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to base decisions on facts, summarize information effectively, and communicate concisely.
- Proactive and discerning approach, identifying priorities and taking action independently.
- Demonstrated success in building direct trust with external partners or clients, beyond internal relationships.
- Consistent, direct responsibility for managing an external-facing relationship (client, partner, or vendor) as a core duty, not an occasional project.
Nice to have
- Prior experience within health plans, digital health companies, or the broader partner/benefits landscape.
- Familiarity with channel or partner operational frameworks, including implementation, contract handoffs, and ongoing account management.
- Experience with billing, data integration, or technical operations in a client or partner-facing capacity.
Skills & tools
- AI Fluency: Level 1 (Explorer)
- Demonstrates daily use of AI to enhance personal productivity.

- Compensation includes base salary, variable pay, and equity. The stated range is a starting point and will be adjusted based on individual performance and impact. Actual pay considers skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors.
