Firmware Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our hardware-centric engineering team. This position focuses on creating embedded control systems along with user-facing software interfaces. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on both low-level firmware and graphical user interface applications, engaging with the entire stack of an embedded product from hardware to user interaction.

What you'll do

• Develop embedded C firmware for various hardware platforms.
• Create graphical user interfaces using Java or JavaScript.
• Integrate firmware communication with software interfaces, including serial, USB, and network protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation across hardware and software components.
• Debug issues that arise in both firmware and application layers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in writing embedded C code for hardware systems.
• Hands-on experience in building GUI applications with Java or JavaScript.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively communicating within a small technical team.
• Strong debugging capabilities across firmware and application levels.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with microcontroller-based hardware and real-time constraints.
• Experience in working across both hardware and software domains.
