About the role
Join super.com's growing Data & Analytics team as a Senior Analytics Engineer. You will be instrumental in developing our core data infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting the finance department. This role involves end-to-end ownership of analytics infrastructure for various products, from data ingestion to activation, ensuring high data quality and availability.

What you'll do
- Promote a data-driven culture by transforming data into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Manage data by ingesting, cleaning, and organizing raw information effectively.
- Lead data projects from initial ingestion through to final reporting, navigating ambiguity.
- Act as a bridge between business, engineering, and data teams to translate requirements into proper data capture and schema designs.
- Contribute to shaping the company's data model to advance the overall analytics strategy and build organizational trust.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current processes and design and implement automated improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an analytics engineer or full-stack data analyst.
- Proficient in SQL, with a focus on writing high-performance code.
- Expert in data modeling, having designed schemas previously, ideally using dbt.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses and the modern data stack.
- Proven ability to deliver projects, including datasets that influenced key business outcomes.
- Capable of building ELT and reverse ETL pipelines using off-the-shelf tools or simple Airflow DAGs with Python.
- Experience with tools for data governance, quality testing, and documentation.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and serve as a liaison.
