QA Engineer

About the role

Suger provides an orchestration platform that helps sales teams manage transactions across major cloud marketplaces. We are looking for a QA Engineer in the Philippines to oversee quality control for our integrations with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba, Oracle, and Snowflake. You will ensure our platform remains stable for our 300 customers, including enterprise clients like Snowflake, Workday, and Intel.

What you'll do

• Create and run test plans for new features, including functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for critical user flows and API endpoints.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to prevent regressions.
• Perform manual exploratory testing on our web application and API interfaces.
• Validate data flows between cloud marketplace APIs and CRM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Document bugs with precise reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams to triage issues and sign off on releases.
• Monitor quality metrics and identify trends in bug reports or escape rates.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to investigate and resolve reported issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience in B2B or SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, including test case design and exploratory testing.
• Ability to write and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs and diagnosing issues via system logs.
• Strong written English skills for creating clear, actionable bug reports.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup setting.
• High attention to detail and a focus on software quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, GCP, Azure) or CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation.
• Background in early-stage startups or high-growth SaaS companies.

Practical notes
