• Analyze massive transaction volumes across the platform by working with engineering, accounting, and product departments.
• Convert intricate network fee specifications into billing logic for interchange and scheme fees.
• Guide product strategy to reduce underlying network expenses.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to execute cost saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance to explain cost trends and prioritize investment areas.
• Validate fee accuracy through monitoring and automated alerting systems.
• Explain complex fee structures to internal and external partners.
• Lead training sessions to improve internal knowledge of payment systems.
• Automate manual operational workflows to increase process speed.
• Document and design scalable operational processes for partner management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the payments industry at a major technology or payments firm.
• Proficiency in writing SQL for relational database queries.
• Proven ability to manage workflows and communications with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior staff on operational strategy, problem solving, and technical skills.
• Background in navigating complex financial systems to resolve large scale technical problems.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities to identify root causes and prioritize issues.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while using metrics to track impact and triage technical challenges.
