About the role
This role focuses on guiding large-scale businesses through the adoption of Stripe financial infrastructure. You will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, designing technical architectures that align with complex business objectives and long-term growth roadmaps.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner with account teams to define and execute customer strategy.
- Identify and secure complex business opportunities while accelerating the adoption of Stripe products.
- Provide technical and business thought leadership to high-level stakeholders including CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Product.
- Design end-to-end transformation journeys and roadmaps involving third-party integrations.
- Perform business analysis and industry research to support user growth.
- Lead discovery workshops, executive briefings, and solution demonstrations to secure technical wins.
- Expand Stripe usage across new global markets and business units.
- Communicate customer insights and market trends to internal product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to sales forecasting, territory planning, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time for customer meetings and internal collaboration.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French.
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role, such as solutions architect, sales engineer, or solution consultant, within a global software enterprise.
- Professional background in fintech, payments, billing, invoicing, issuing, or banking.
- Proven ability to engage and build credibility with executive-level decision makers.
- Strong group-facilitation skills for leading strategic customer meetings.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and API architectures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a consulting role.
- Experience working at a growth-stage internet or software company.
- Proficiency in writing code in languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
