About the role
Stripe is expanding its Employee Relations and HR Compliance team to better support staff and managers across EMEA and APAC. This role focuses on balancing regulatory requirements with empathetic conflict resolution to ensure a healthy workplace culture.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage employee inquiries and grievances while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Execute investigations into complaints and facilitate dispute resolution processes.
- Administer disciplinary and grievance procedures specifically for the EMEA region.
- Assist in maintaining HR policies that align with local laws across EMEA and APAC jurisdictions.
- Perform compliance audits to identify risks and suggest improvements.
- Monitor regional employment law updates to ensure organizational adherence.
- Design and deliver training programs regarding compliance and employee relations.
- Track case data using HR Acuity and Navex.
- Analyze metrics to identify trends and report on people-related risks.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and People teams to refine internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR compliance, employee relations, or a related legal function, ideally within EMEA.
- Deep understanding of EMEA employment regulations and the ability to apply them to real-world scenarios.
- Proven experience leading complex global investigations, including those involving executive-level staff.
- Strong background in conflict resolution, labor relations, and coaching stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations with sound judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency in prioritizing tasks within a rapidly growing organization.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
