What you'll do
- Assist project managers in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring all phases are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to schedule deliveries and manage on-site activities, fostering effective communication among all parties involved.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for project managers, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
- Participate in project meetings, taking detailed minutes and following up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.
- Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking material deliveries.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, helping to track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to monitor work quality and compliance with safety regulations, ensuring that all team members adhere to industry standards.
- Help resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project, acting as a liaison between different stakeholders to facilitate solutions.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support within the construction industry.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with construction terminology, processes, and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work.
Nice to have
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software is advantageous.
