About the role
State Street is hiring a Senior PKI Engineer to lead the modernization and automation of our enterprise cryptographic services. You will manage certificate lifecycles and machine identity across our cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments while focusing on operational efficiency and security.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and maintain platforms for enterprise PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
- Automate workflows for the issuance, renewal, and deployment of certificates.
- Integrate security tools including ServiceNow, SailPoint, CyberArk, Splunk, Azure, and AWS.
- Manage private and public Certificate Authority services, trust models, and lifecycle standards.
- Oversee machine identity management for APIs, servers, devices, and cloud services.
- Execute certificate discovery, platform modernization, and migration projects.
- Write automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to support post-quantum cryptography and crypto agility.
- Assist with regulatory audits and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, PKI, or enterprise infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in PKI, TLS, SSL, HSMs, OCSP, CRL, SSH, and code signing.
- Experience with certificate management platforms such as Keyfactor, DigiCert, Microsoft ADCS, or Venafi.
- Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
- Experience working within Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management abilities.
