About the role

This role involves designing and maintaining technology solutions that support core business operations and platform functionality. You will work within IT and business units to create secure, scalable software while maintaining high standards for engineering and operational performance.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full software delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering and technical design to deployment and operational transition using Agile or waterfall methodologies.
• Develop production-ready software by following established coding standards and design patterns while utilizing automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Improve platform stability by participating in on-call rotations, resolving incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and tracking operational metrics.
• Update shared libraries and internal standards to minimize technical debt.

Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience leading a team of 4 or more software developers.
• Advanced knowledge of system components including APIs, data models, batch processing, workflows, and UI configurations.
• Experience with synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk data integration patterns.
• Background in extending commercial off-the-shelf software to meet specific business needs.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and guide cross-functional teams through complex technical decisions.
