About the role
Sprinter Health provides medical care directly to patients in their homes to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits. This role focuses on transitioning patient booking from manual phone outreach to a product-led model. You will build systems that directly influence whether patients receive essential healthcare services.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and test experiments to increase patient bookings, including new in-product flows and messaging variations.
- Manage engagement across email, SMS, phone, and mail channels to improve patient scheduling.
- Prioritize growth initiatives through rapid brainstorming and opportunity sizing.
- Track and report on funnel metrics to identify conversion and activation trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to review experiment results and share actionable insights.
- Pilot unconventional outreach methods to balance clinical supply with patient demand.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically on growth or experimentation teams.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing projects at the pod level.
- Background in developing backend systems for messaging, funnels, activation, or experimentation.
- Proven track record of shipping experiments that improved retention, conversion, activation, or booking metrics.
- Ability to use data to prioritize development and identify drop-off points in user flows.
- Experience working with design, product, operations, and data teams to launch features.
- History of balancing speed and quality in high-growth or startup environments.
Nice to have
- Experience owning the full lifecycle of growth features from sizing through to measurement.
- History of working on products where growth is driven through the product rather than just outbound channels.
- Experience operating in zero-to-one or high-ambiguity environments without established playbooks.
