Senior Program Manager at Spreetail
About the role
This role is for an Industrial Engineer who will drive operational improvements across our fulfillment network. You will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale automation and facility enhancements to boost efficiency.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of new fulfillment center launches and significant facility upgrades, managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Develop and implement network-wide standards for storage, space optimization, and layout design, incorporating advanced automation technologies.
- Conduct detailed facility layout redesigns using CAD and data analytics to align with inventory, velocity, and supply chain trends.
- Create and present key operational metrics and predictive models to executive leadership using Power BI and SQL.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for executive teams, operations, technology departments, and automation vendors, managing vendor relationships and agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a similar quantitative discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, fulfillment network planning, or managing large logistics programs.
- Demonstrated success in defining, budgeting, and completing capital projects valued at $5 million or more, involving new builds or significant automation upgrades.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD or SketchUp for facility design, along with advanced data analysis and modeling abilities using SQL, Power BI, or Python.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders, manage project teams, and navigate complex organizational structures.

- Experience with discrete event simulation tools like FlexSim.
