EHS Manager

About the role

Spreetail is looking for a hands-on safety professional to manage our fulfillment center environment. You will lead our safety culture by balancing strategic program oversight with daily floor-level operations to ensure our team remains protected.

What you'll do

• Maintain ORIR and LTI rates at or below industry benchmarks for e-fulfillment and warehouse operations.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for all safety incidents.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely closure of all OSHA recordable cases.
• Partner with the P&C team to maintain at least 95 percent completion rates for new hire and PIT safety training.
• Conduct and score monthly safety audits, tracking all identified issues to resolution.
• Manage emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources across all shifts.
• Oversee workers compensation claims, including the management of modified duty programs and cost reduction efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS or safety, preferably within distribution, production, or warehouse settings.
• Direct experience with regulatory compliance, including 300 logs and onsite inspections.
• Ability to support multi-shift environments, including nights and weekends.
• Hands-on experience performing incident investigations, safety audits, root cause analysis, and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Capacity to manage safety programs independently without direct supervisor support.
• Willingness to spend a significant portion of your time on the warehouse floor rather than at a desk.
