About the role
Spreetail is looking for an analytical professional to build infrastructure and models that improve global ecommerce marketing performance. You will manage internal tools and data systems to drive efficiency and provide actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and maintain advanced analytics models and infrastructure to streamline marketing operations.
- Manage and upgrade internal tools including the Brand Workflow Engine, Alerting Dashboard, Promotions Optimization, and Channel Search Optimization.
- Create new tools to support emerging business needs and operational growth.
- Monitor marketing performance using data analytics to develop predictive models for key metrics like lift percentage, suppression risk, and lost sales.
- Generate data-driven insights for ad hoc requests, focusing on business impact in dollar amounts rather than just volume counts.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Pricing, Demand, FP&A, Training, and S&T to ensure solutions remain scalable for at least 5 years.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in business analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience using data visualization software such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Ability to write scripts using R or Python.
- Strong aptitude for complex problem-solving and translating data into business outcomes like revenue growth or cost reduction.
- Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
