Product & Regulatory Operations Manager at Spotify.
About the role
This position manages the operational framework for Spotify's global regulatory compliance efforts. You will coordinate cross-functional workflows to ensure the company meets requirements across international digital platform laws.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Organize and optimize document management systems, including filing and record-keeping for regulatory compliance.
- Monitor legislative developments and maintain calendars to track upcoming regulatory changes.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of policy and terms-of-service updates, including drafting, review, and publication.
- Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives, managing workflows from initiation to completion.
- Prepare materials for regulatory audits and information requests by gathering data from various internal departments.
- Create and update internal playbooks and process documentation to streamline compliance operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Trust & Safety, and Product teams to maintain reporting controls.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies within the regulatory workload.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or legal operations within media, tech, or digital platform sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership and coordinate across departments.
- Self-directed work style with a focus on building structured processes in ambiguous environments.
- Proficiency in managing documentation and organizational knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively across global time zones and diverse cultures.
- Experience utilizing project management software such as Asana, Jira, or Notion.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with digital platform regulations, specifically the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA), EU Digital Services Act (DSA), UK Online Safety Act (UK OSA), Australian Online Safety Act (AUS OSA), or COPPA.

- This role requires working from the New York office 2-3 days per week.
