M1 - Engineering Lead

Spin Careers is looking for an M1 Engineering Lead to guide autonomous development teams in delivering high-quality technical projects. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor autonomous development teams to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.
• Coordinate between product, QA, and business stakeholders to keep project execution on track.
• Define and monitor SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics to meet business requirements.
• Partner with architects to build scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
• Oversee code reviews and QA processes to ensure software reliability and accessibility.
• Work with SRE teams to manage infrastructure capacity and system resilience.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks to improve team efficiency and system performance.
• Document operational processes and system guidelines to support team independence.
• Act as a culture ambassador to maintain an inclusive and productive work environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Proficiency in .NET, Java, TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js.
• Experience with microservices, containerized environments, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices including SAST, DAST, and MAST.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and architecture standards.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with TDD, ATDD, and BDD testing methodologies.
• Ability to manage risks and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
