About the role
Spin Careers is looking for a Staff Engineer to guide technical strategy and architectural standards across our engineering squads. You will act as a key mentor for our development teams while ensuring our software systems remain scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct the design and implementation of complex software architectures.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior and senior engineering staff.
- Partner with product managers and business leaders to translate strategic roadmaps into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with SRE teams to build fault-tolerant infrastructure and maintain high system availability.
- Establish development standards including TDD, CI/CD workflows, and secure coding practices.
- Create automation tools to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance metrics to identify and execute optimization opportunities.
- Act as a culture ambassador to promote an inclusive and autonomous work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven history of building and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications.
- Deep knowledge of modular architectures, superapps, and reusable components.
- Experience with microservices and REST API integration.
- Proficiency in Agile development environments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
