About the role
This position manages the lifecycle of strategic aviation accounts for the Starlink satellite network. You will serve as the primary contact for enterprise partners, overseeing everything from initial contract signing to ongoing service activation and long-term revenue growth.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own the relationship with strategic aviation clients, handling onboarding, retention, and expansion.
- Coordinate with Account Specialists and Leads to manage daily operational tasks like invoicing, orders, and supply logistics.
- Engage with executive-level stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal technical and product development teams.
- Provide high-quality support to resolve technical or service issues promptly.
- Identify and execute process improvements to streamline cross-functional workflows and scale operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business or engineering, OR a high school diploma/equivalency with 10+ years of experience in program management, sales, business development, or account management.
- 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends during critical operational periods.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to customer sites or other SpaceX locations.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hawthorne, CA, Woodinville, WA, Redmond, WA, or Bastrop, TX.
Nice to have
- Background in aviation-related sales or account management, including work with commercial airlines, OEMs, or dealers.
- Experience with mobility, fleet applications, satellite integrations, or onboard connectivity.
- Technical understanding of telecommunications, specifically ground networks, user terminals, or satellite systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects under strict resource and time constraints.
- Proficiency in interpreting contract language and identifying key deliverables.
