Employee Experience Specialist

About the role

You will foster a productive work environment by designing programs that boost engagement and employee satisfaction. This role focuses on building culture through events, internal communications, and supporting employee-led communities.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and execute employee experience initiatives including mentorship programs, speaker series, and social gatherings.
• Plan and manage events for business milestones and holidays, primarily for Redmond and Woodinville sites.
• Oversee company-wide recognition programs, anniversary milestones, and gifting.
• Manage budgets and training for SpaceX Communities and their local leads.
• Update internal communication platforms like newsletters and the employee experience website.
• Monitor and report on ROI, budget usage, and engagement metrics across all company sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree with 2+ years of professional experience in HR, culture, or event planning OR 6+ years of experience in these fields.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to other company locations.
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours when required.
• Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Background in inclusion initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience in event planning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Practical notes

• Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000.
• Compensation includes potential long-term incentives, discretionary bonuses, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
