Senior Territory Account Executive

About the role

Sophos is seeking a sales professional to manage and grow business within a designated territory. You will focus on driving new customer acquisition, managing renewals, and expanding existing accounts through our partner ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Generate and pursue sales leads to meet or exceed established revenue targets.
• Qualify potential business by assessing value, structure, and specific customer needs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with C-level stakeholders and channel partners.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Channel teams to support the full sales cycle.
• Document all activity and provide precise sales forecasts within Salesforce.
• Mentor and coach team members to support collective growth.
• Represent the company at marketing events and industry functions.
• Address and resolve customer concerns to ensure Sophos remains a preferred vendor.
• Travel occasionally for training or corporate events.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in hardware or software sales.
• Proven track record of managing the complete sales lifecycle, from acquisition to retention.
• Experience navigating complex organizational structures and multi-level selling.
• Ability to influence and present to C-level executives.
• Proficiency in developing and executing detailed account plans.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Understanding of renewal processes and software licensing.
• Experience with accurate sales forecasting in a reseller-based model.

Nice to have

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Prior knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
