About the role
Sophos is hiring a GTM Enablement Manager for the Americas region to strengthen sales readiness and performance across the territory. You will work alongside regional sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure sellers can execute priority sales plays, adopt modern selling approaches, and apply the company sales methodology consistently. This position requires someone who can operate strategically while also handling detailed execution, producing polished deliverables, and using data to identify gaps and measure results.

What you'll do
- Act as a consultative enablement partner to Americas sales leadership, aligning enablement priorities with regional strategy, pipeline development, and business outcomes
- Operationalize the Sophos sales methodology and priority GTM motions, helping sellers and managers apply discovery, qualification, value messaging, objection handling, and deal execution in real conversations
- Build enablement programs that show sellers how to use AI tools for account research, customer preparation, messaging, follow-up, pipeline creation, and deal strategy
- Use AI tools and prompt-based workflows to accelerate training design, content production, role plays, coaching guides, simulations, and reinforcement assets while maintaining quality control and brand alignment
- Own detailed planning, coordination, and delivery of Americas enablement programs including project plans, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and communications
- Create and maintain field-ready assets such as playbooks, slide decks, facilitator guides, seller resources, manager toolkits, role-play scenarios, and dashboards
- Facilitate workshops, live training, virtual sessions, simulations, deal clinics, manager briefings, and coaching conversations
- Apply adult learning theory and instructional design principles to create practical, outcome-focused programs for a regional sales audience with varied experience levels
- Use CRM data, enablement platform metrics, field feedback, and business performance indicators to identify capability gaps, track adoption, and measure impact
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineering, Channel, Sales Operations, and GTM Enablement colleagues
- Maintain content governance including version control, ownership, review cycles, source accuracy, and publication readiness
Requirements
- Strong background in sales enablement, GTM enablement, sales operations, field sales, technical sales, or learning and development
- Proven ability to partner with senior sales leaders as a trusted advisor who can challenge constructively
- Solid understanding of sales execution, sales methodology, pipeline management, account planning, discovery, qualification, and value-based selling
- Practical fluency in AI tools for sales, with clear understanding of how sellers can use AI to improve productivity, customer preparation, messaging, and deal strategy
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for enablement content development, role-play creation, training design, and coaching resources
- Strong grasp of adult learning theory, instructional design, and skills-based enablement approaches
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and facilitate enablement programs, workshops, simulations, role plays, deal clinics, and manager coaching sessions
- Excellent content development skills with ability to produce polished, executive-ready deliverables including presentations, playbooks, guides, dashboards, and communications
- Strong program management capability including planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and detailed execution in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with ability to use CRM insights and enablement metrics to inform decisions
