Field Marketing Intern - German speaking

About the role

Sophos is looking for a German-speaking marketing intern to join their field marketing team for a 12-month industry placement. You will contribute to campaigns, events, and webinars while gaining hands-on commercial experience in cybersecurity marketing. This role supports regional marketing activities across multiple channels and involves close collaboration with sales teams.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Assist with marketing campaign development including collateral creation, copywriting, proofreading, email production, and performance reporting
• Coordinate virtual and in-person events by managing registration pages, promoting through social media, preparing delegate materials, tracking attendance, and attending events when needed
• Run webinar activities from setup and scheduling through to hosting, registration monitoring, and post-event analysis
• Maintain records and manage tasks using internal platforms to stay organized and communicate with the marketing team
• Produce written content and visual assets for marketing communications using creative tools to build emails, registration pages, and social posts
• Keep regional sales teams and other internal stakeholders informed about upcoming marketing initiatives

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a graduate student in a Marketing discipline and seeking a 12-month industry placement
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in both English and German
• Genuine interest in marketing with a desire to build commercial skills
• Solid organizational and project management abilities
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Self-directed and confident in managing your own workload
