Join somethings to help address the youth mental health crisis by overseeing our Certified Peer Specialist Mentors. This role is ideal for a clinical professional who enjoys both direct supervision and contributing to a growing organization. You will ensure the quality and effectiveness of our peer support services for teenagers.

What you'll do

• Supervise Peer Support Specialist Mentors during specific hours: Monday-Thursday 4 PM-10 PM EST, and Friday 4 PM-7 PM EST.
• Ensure the safety and clinical effectiveness of both mentors and the teens they support.
• Guide mentors to meet and exceed expectations for professionalism and role requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation for the Clinical Operations team.
• Provide consistent updates to the Head of Clinical Operations regarding your supervisees' performance.
• Offer additional support for teens with higher acuity needs within the program.

Requirements

• Hold a current mental health provider license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMHC) in either Illinois or North Carolina.
• Possess prior experience supervising clinicians, peer support specialists, or other mental health providers.
• Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of ACT, DBT, and CBT therapeutic approaches.
• Exhibit high empathy and a data-driven approach.
• Be organized and proficient with technology.
• Show a strong interest in youth mental health and making a societal impact.

Nice to have

• Experience within a healthcare startup environment.
• Direct experience working with adolescents in a mental health setting, with a willingness to manage a small, occasional clinical caseload of teens.

Practical notes
