About the role
This role involves shaping and expanding emerging products in fraud, identity, and payments, with an initial focus on Account Intelligence. You will guide products from early concept to market, working with customers, engineering, and data science teams. This is an opportunity to drive significant impact in a complex, data-rich environment.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Define the long-term vision and roadmap for Account Intelligence, starting with bank account verification and expanding into other payment instruments.
- Discover and lead new product initiatives from initial customer research through launch and growth.
- Gain deep insights into customer processes and challenges to inform product priorities and differentiation.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to translate customer needs into clear product specifications and scalable solutions.
- Coordinate efforts across Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Operations.
- Research market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify new growth areas.
- Manage the product's business performance, including adoption, pricing, costs, revenue, and profitability.
- Explain complex product, data, and technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Build organizational consensus and support for major product investments and long-term projects.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of product management experience, including ownership of complex products or portfolios.
- Proven ability to define multi-year product strategies and create actionable roadmaps that deliver business results.
- Experience guiding products from early development to commercialization and scale.
- Strong customer focus, with a history of building direct relationships and using customer feedback.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering and Data Science on data-intensive, API, platform, or AI/ML products.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including using data for prioritization and business case development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting product strategy to executives.
- Ability to operate independently and with urgency in uncertain, fast-changing situations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Background in payments, bank-account verification, fraud, identity, risk, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience building products that combine proprietary, partner, customer-contributed, or consortium data.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with network effects, data partnerships, or products that gain value with increased participation.
- Experience launching products internationally or across diverse regulatory environments.
- Experience with SQL, analytics tools, experimentation, or model-performance measurement.
- Advanced degree in a business, technical, or analytical field.
