What you'll do

• Develop AI agents and workflows that automate finance processes, including revenue analysis and cost monitoring, using our proprietary tools, CoCo and CoWork.
• Create and refine structured prompts and skills based on stakeholder feedback to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Build tools that empower non-technical finance analysts to generate professional-quality results with minimal input.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of model outputs to maintain quality before they reach finance stakeholders.
• Construct and manage revenue summary pipelines for quarterly and weekly reports.
• Support sensitivity analysis models for business reviews and revenue forecasting.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses for deal desk operations, including discount trends and capacity utilization.
• Create and maintain benchmarking and margin analysis tools for deal desk managers, ensuring accuracy in pricing decisions.
• Develop analytics to identify accounts at risk of underage or overage during renewals.
• Automate quarterly deal desk reporting, including summaries and trend analyses.
• Collaborate with deal desk managers to translate pricing logic into effective data models and AI agents.
• Oversee the semantic layers, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the contract between models and users.
• Develop production finance dashboards as Streamlit applications.
• Participate in quarterly earnings preparation, including automation of reporting exports.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related technical finance role.
• Proven experience using an AI coding assistant as a primary development tool on a daily basis.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries without assistance.
• Experience in developing multiple Python applications that are actively maintained in production.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, including pull requests and code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex, including AI_SUMMARIZE and semantic views.
• Familiarity with reporting automation tools like openpyxl and multi-tab Excel exports.
• Knowledge of dbt for model authoring and YAML tests.
• Understanding of semantic search and embeddings for natural language analytics.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in AI-assisted development, including prompt engineering and skill authoring.
• Strong command of Python for application development and data manipulation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and the ability to maintain a verified query library.

Practical notes

• This position is eligible for a competitive salary range of $114,000 - $150,100, along with participation in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
• The compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
