You will serve as a key technical advisor for our Global Strategic Accounts, helping major advertisers optimize their results using our AI-driven advertising platform. This position bridges the gap between sales, product, and customer success teams to manage the full lifecycle of our clients. In this capacity, you will translate complex business challenges into streamlined technical workflows that maximize the value of our solutions. You will act as a central point of contact for strategic stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and overarching business goals. The role requires a proactive mindset to anticipate client needs and deliver consistent value beyond the initial sale. You will leverage your expertise to foster long-term partnerships that drive retention and expansion within key accounts. Success in this position is defined by your ability to drive adoption, resolve intricate issues, and contribute to the strategic growth of our most important clients.

What you'll do
- Partner with strategic accounts to uncover new business opportunities and identify areas for expansion within existing relationships.
- Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions to document client objectives, current workflows, and critical success metrics.
- Design and present tailored solution plans that leverage specific platform features to address unique client requirements.
- Execute complex product demonstrations and detailed walkthroughs for technical teams and executive leadership.
- Serve as the primary technical consultant throughout the sales cycle, facilitating smooth transitions to implementation teams.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure structured and effective onboarding for newly acquired accounts.
- Lead hands-on training sessions and configuration support to accelerate user adoption and reduce time-to-value.
- Synthesize feedback from client interactions to inform product enhancements and future roadmap priorities.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional departments including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Troubleshoot intricate technical issues by coordinating with internal specialists and external vendors.
- Monitor account health metrics and identify risks or opportunities for upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of client architectures, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
- Represent Smartly at client site visits and virtual workshops to strengthen strategic relationships.
- Guide clients through advanced use cases involving data integrations, API connections, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Bring prior experience in technical account management, solutions consulting, sales engineering, customer success, or onboarding roles.
- Demonstrate a track record of managing customer engagements across the full lifecycle, encompassing both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities.
- Show proficiency in performing discovery sessions and translating ambiguous requirements into scalable, practical solutions.
- Exhibit strong presentation and communication skills that adapt effectively to diverse stakeholder groups and organizational levels.
- Have direct experience delivering training programs and enablement initiatives that measurably improve user adoption.
- Apply proven problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset that focuses on long-term client outcomes.
- Balance deep technical understanding with commercial awareness to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
- Possess experience working with digital advertising platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, or Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
- Feel comfortable discussing technical concepts, system integrations, data flows, and complex workflows with clients.
- Hold the right to work in the United Kingdom and comply with all visa requirements for the location.
- Commit to working a standard full-time schedule as defined by the company policies.
- Be prepared to travel occasionally within the London region for client meetings and industry events.
