You will contribute to the core MLOps and data platform, collaborating with a diverse team to productionize AI applications efficiently.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Construct ML-driven software systems that enable users to create effective advertising campaigns.
- Work with various datasets, including images, video, audio, text, and structured performance data.
- Strengthen Smartly's MLOps and data platform alongside senior ML engineers, data scientists, and software engineers.
- Actively participate in team planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Influence the daily operations of hundreds of advertisers utilizing Smartly's platform.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs.
- Develop soft skills through knowledge sharing, effective meetings, and pair programming.
- Stay informed about current ML advancements, particularly in generative AI, computer vision, natural language processing, and explainability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying production-ready software.
- 2+ years of experience delivering software services powered by machine learning.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
- Fluent in Python.
- Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Understanding of MLOps concepts and tools like MLflow or Kubeflow.
- Experience with feature engineering, model evaluation, diagnostics, and monitoring.
- Strong foundational knowledge in linear algebra, statistics, and calculus.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines for ML-based data processing.
- Experience developing and maintaining services under service level agreements.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt and show resilience when facing new or ambiguous challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Experience with C++ or Java.
- M.Sc. in a relevant field.
