About the role
Join Smartly as an Enterprise Business Development Representative and be a key player in expanding our client base. You will be the initial point of contact for potential enterprise clients, introducing them to Smartly's innovative advertising solutions and cultivating valuable sales prospects.

What you'll do
- Discover and connect with prospective enterprise customers through various outreach methods including email, phone, and professional networking platforms.
- Generate qualified leads by scheduling initial meetings for Account Executives with target organizations.
- Craft personalized communication strategies that address the specific business needs and goals of each prospect.
- Maintain a consistent flow of potential client engagements and manage your pipeline of target accounts.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to define strategies for key accounts and identify the most promising opportunities.
- Work with the Marketing team to utilize campaign materials, events, and content to support pipeline development.
- Ensure accurate and thorough record-keeping of all prospect interactions and opportunity progress within Salesforce.
- Continuously improve your outreach methods and prospecting techniques by analyzing data and utilizing available tools.
- Stay current with industry developments, customer pain points, and Smartly's product offerings to effectively present our value.
- Consistently achieve monthly targets for activity, meetings booked, and pipeline generated.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales development, business development, or client-facing role, ideally within a fast-paced B2B software environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for building rapport and crafting persuasive messages.
- High levels of motivation, resilience, and comfort with proactive outreach in a growth-oriented sales setting.
- A curious and receptive attitude, eager to learn and enhance your sales capabilities.
- A commitment to building a long-term career in enterprise sales, with ambitions for future growth into quota-carrying roles.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- An analytical approach to problem-solving and an interest in using data and AI tools to enhance prospecting.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, goal-driven team.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience demonstrating business understanding and problem-solving skills.

- Base salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 USD per year, plus annual performance bonus.
