About the role
Join Sierra's Brand Design team to create engaging video content for social media. This position focuses on producing quick, high-quality videos that tell the story of AI-powered customer experiences, driving audience interaction and brand recognition. You will manage projects from beginning to end, showcasing Sierra's products, people, and ideas across various marketing and thought leadership initiatives.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Produce and edit short videos for platforms like LinkedIn, X, and YouTube Shorts, including rapid-turnaround content shot on mobile devices, often delivering within hours or 24-72 hours.
- Collaborate with social and marketing leads to develop ongoing content series such as product demonstrations, executive interviews, customer testimonials, and brand narratives.
- Craft compelling video narratives with strong hooks, pacing, and captions for audience retention, and adapt longer videos into multiple short-form assets.
- Capture event and lifestyle photography for use on the web, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Create simple graphics, memes, and motion-based content in coordination with a motion designer to enhance social storytelling.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in social storytelling, understanding platform-specific content and audience behavior on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and new channels.
- Strong editorial judgment to identify relevant cultural moments and trends that align with Sierra's mission.
- Ability to adapt to various content types, including fast-turnaround social content, executive thought leadership, customer stories, event coverage, and polished brand campaigns.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
- Experience with both professional camera setups and lightweight/mobile video production.
- A proactive approach to generating ideas, experimenting with formats, and creating content that captures attention.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, maintaining strong asset organization while balancing speed and quality.
Nice to have
- Experience with motion graphics, basic design, meme culture, or photography.
