ONGOING PROJECT
A Dual-Layer Cybersecurity Framework Against Rogue Devices in Public Wireless Network
Designed a dual-layer Wi-Fi security framework that detects rogue devices using DNS behavior, MAC stability, and RF telemetry. Implemented a Fusion Engine using weighted threshold logic to compute risk/rogue scores in real time.
Automated mitigation using Open Wrt firewall rules via Linux netfilter to block/restrict suspicious clients. Simulated attacks (DNS flooding, repeated reconnections, MAC churn) and validated system effectiveness with minimal false enforcement.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Published a patent titled “Dual-Layer Wireless Security for Detecting Rogue Devices in Public Wi-Fi Networks” at Indian Patent Office.
