About the role
This role focuses on nurturing relationships with existing client groups, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty. You will be the main point of contact, actively managing their experience and proactively addressing any challenges.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Maintain strong connections with current client groups, aiming for high satisfaction and retention rates.
- Participate in client meetings, both virtual and in-person, throughout Texas to provide education and enrollment assistance.
- Lead discussions for contract renewals, including negotiating terms and pricing to balance business goals with client needs.
- Identify potential issues that could affect group success and work with internal departments to find solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and enhance the overall client experience.
- Manage and resolve escalated client issues by responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in account management within the health insurance or employee benefits sector.
- A proven history of successfully managing accounts and achieving retention.
- The ability to travel up to 40% within Texas.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Strong abilities in communication, organization, and building professional relationships.
- A proactive approach, a drive to act, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A current Texas State Health and Life insurance license in good standing is preferred.
