I develop atomistic, discrete, and continuum-scale models to determine how microstructure and interfacial dynamics govern friction, rheology, deformation, and failure in materials.
My work connects molecular simulation and computational mechanics with experimentally measurable material response, with current emphasis on rough lubricated contacts, friction models, network materials, and nonequilibrium simulation methods.
