FP&A Senior Analyst

About the role

This position serves as a strategic partner to Finance leadership, supporting sound business decisions through rigorous planning, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will own essential FP&A functions and build the models and insights that guide both strategic direction and day-to-day operations at Showpad.

What you'll do

• Track and report on critical financial and operational metrics such as ARR, bookings, EBITDA margin, and operating costs
• Conduct monthly and quarterly comparisons of actual results against budget and forecast, highlighting primary drivers and patterns for leadership and business stakeholders
• Create and maintain financial models covering revenue, staffing, and operating expenses to inform budgeting, scenario analysis, and forecasting cycles
• Lead planning and reporting activities across the organization, including Quarterly Forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data while identifying ways to fix inconsistencies and improve workflows
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with other departments to establish best practices, spot improvement opportunities, and refine existing processes and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in Corporate FP&A or a similar finance role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including building dynamic models and running sensitivity analyses
• Hands-on experience with reporting, budget cycles, and complex financial modeling
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple projects at once
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and revenue drivers
