Job description
Manager, GTM Sales Enablement at Shield AI
About the role
This position is crucial for scaling our Go-to-Market efforts by ensuring our sales team can learn and adapt quickly. You will own the design and execution of programs that accelerate new seller ramp-up and keep experienced sellers informed about product updates, competitive shifts, and market changes. This role transforms strategic priorities into practical, impactful learning experiences.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the complete lifecycle of quarterly enablement bootcamps, from agenda setting and content creation to logistics and event execution, ensuring clear outcomes and readiness benchmarks are met.
- Develop and manage quarterly learning plans for experienced sellers, tailoring content to specific roles and tenures to cover new products, competitive intelligence, and pricing adjustments effectively.
- Collaborate with GTM Strategy to define quarterly enablement topics, translating market evidence and strategic plays into a structured curriculum with assigned owners and timelines.
- Build and maintain a scalable, version-controlled library of enablement content, including certifications and learning paths, ensuring materials remain current with product and market evolution.
- Cultivate a network of internal facilitators, sales leaders, and subject matter experts, providing them with training and support to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of enablement sessions.
- Establish and monitor key metrics to evaluate enablement effectiveness, including participation, assessment results, observed behavior changes, and downstream impact on sales performance, reporting findings quarterly.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales enablement, GTM enablement, sales training, or a quota-carrying/sales engineering role within B2B technology, with a proven track record of developing and managing enablement programs.
- Demonstrated success in owning and scaling recurring enablement initiatives such as bootcamps, sales kickoffs, certification programs, or structured learning delivered on a consistent schedule.
- Proficiency in curriculum design and group facilitation, with the ability to create engaging content and present effectively to sales teams.
- Experience with content authoring tools like Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course development, learning path creation, and certification management.
- Strong executive presentation and influencing skills, with an organized approach to managing multiple workstreams and delivering on a fixed quarterly cadence.
- A field-first mindset, prioritizing the development of programs based on how sellers actually operate and sell.
- Ability to measure program impact by focusing on seller behavior change rather than just activity metrics.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of partnering effectively with GTM Strategy and sales leadership to achieve shared goals.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to the defense, dual-use, or public sector markets, with an understanding of long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
Skills & tools
