What you'll do

Direct the global environmental health and safety program to ensure strict compliance with all applicable international regulations and standards.

Oversee the creation and implementation of corporate policies regarding workplace safety, hazardous materials, and industrial hygiene across all regions.

Manage the thorough investigation and resolution of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to foster a culture of proactive prevention.

Coordinate with regional operations teams to conduct regular facility inspections and comprehensive audits at offices and manufacturing sites worldwide.

Lead the development of emergency response plans and coordinate frequent drills to prepare personnel for various critical scenarios.

Supervise a dedicated team of safety professionals and provide mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for direct reports.

Liaise with external regulatory agencies and third-party consultants to maintain important certifications and stay updated on evolving legal requirements.

Analyze operational data and environmental metrics to identify emerging trends and recommend improvements for risk mitigation and sustainability.

Ensure the safe integration of new technologies, including intelligent systems and advanced aircraft, into existing operational frameworks and processes.

Report directly to executive leadership on global safety performance, budget adherence, and strategic initiatives for continuous organizational improvement.

Requirements

Possess a bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited academic institution.

Demonstrate a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in environmental health and safety management roles within industry.

Bring substantial experience managing global operations, particularly across multiple international jurisdictions and complex regulatory environments simultaneously.

Have a proven track record of developing and executing enterprise-wide safety strategies and comprehensive compliance frameworks effectively.

Exhibit deep knowledge of environmental protection laws and guidelines for proper application across multiple jurisdictions.

Show strong leadership capabilities with a history of building, training, and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams toward shared goals.

Display excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for presenting findings to senior executives and external stakeholders clearly.

Maintain the ability to travel frequently to various domestic and international offices and facilities as required by the business.

Nice to have

Hold a master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as industrial hygiene or environmental sustainability practices.

Have prior experience working within the defense technology or aerospace sectors and understanding their unique operational challenges.

Possess familiarity with Hivemind autonomy software, V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft, or Aechelon simulation technologies and platforms.

Be proficient in multiple languages to effectively communicate with diverse international teams and local community stakeholders.

Practical notes

This position is based out of the Dallas, Texas office and requires consistent on-site presence during standard business hours.

The role involves regular interaction with cross-functional teams located in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
