About the role
Sezzle is looking for a Vendor Management Program Manager to oversee our third-party risk management. This role is crucial for ensuring all vendor relationships meet our standards for security, compliance, and operational effectiveness. You will manage the entire vendor lifecycle and maintain a strong program.

What you'll do
Establish and uphold third-party risk standards and governance in collaboration with IT, Legal, and Compliance departments.
Perform thorough vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring, assessing risks related to consumer impact, complaint analysis, and data protection.
Maintain all third-party risk documentation, including vendor and data processor inventories, and conduct regular compliance reviews.
Conduct risk assessments to determine vendor criticality and identify inherent risks associated with handling personal information, BSA/AML, and credit decisions.
Work with Legal to ensure appropriate contracts are in place and with Information Security to verify technical controls of partners.
Track and report risk events or performance issues to senior leadership and banking partners.
Requirements
Possess over 7 years of professional experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance, ideally within fintech or regulated financial services.
Demonstrate understanding of the third-party risk management lifecycle and relevant regulations such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML.
Show a proven ability to manage a high volume of vendor assessments and maintain readiness for audits by banking partners and regulators.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or possess equivalent practical experience.
Have direct experience using Claude or similar large language model tools for productivity, research, and communication.
