IT Operations Analyst

About the role

Sezzle is seeking an IT Operations Analyst to join our growing team in Bogota. This role focuses on managing local hardware, supporting internal users, and maintaining our technical infrastructure with a high level of accountability. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our Colombian operations, ensuring our systems remain secure and efficient.

What you'll do

• Manage local hardware procurement, deployment, and physical security for macOS and Windows devices.
• Resolve internal support requests through Jira from start to finish.
• Execute tasks from the existing Jira backlog to improve proactive IT operations.
• Communicate technical changes and security standards to engineering teams and the wider company.
• Provision hardware and software for staff, including participation in on-call rotations and after-hours support.
• Lead IT onboarding training for new hires and manage offboarding procedures.
• Assist with IT audits regarding access control history and quarterly software vendor reviews.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of professional experience.
• Must be based in Bogota, Colombia, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in using Claude or similar large language models for productivity and research.
• Experience with cloud-based productivity suite administration, macOS/Windows enterprise device management, and IT service management platforms.
• Ability to work on-call and occasionally after hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile methodologies, including Jira ticketing workflows and pointing.
• Background in implementing and documenting PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type 2, and CIS controls.
• Strong self-starter skills with a focus on identifying, assessing, and resolving operational issues autonomously.
• Experience in formalizing change management processes and documentation.
