Sales Financial Analyst

About the role

ServiceNow is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to manage revenue allocation and financial reporting within our sales organization. You will bridge the gap between technical data and business strategy by improving internal processes and ensuring accurate financial reconciliations.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing tasks related to revenue distribution across business units.
• Verify data integrity, reconcile accounts, and audit commission calculations.
• Partner with Sales Operations and the Deals Desk to track and categorize revenue-impacting transactions.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to address business challenges and provide actionable insights.
• Develop monitoring frameworks to track key performance metrics.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing financial workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis, ideally within a public enterprise software firm.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with business intelligence software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools or automated workflows into daily problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
