About the role

ServiceNow is seeking an editor to drive the content strategy for Workflow, our proprietary thought leadership platform. This role balances high-level editorial planning with active writing and production to translate complex enterprise technology and AI trends into engaging narratives.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop content pillars and storylines that align with business goals and ServiceNow value propositions.
• Manage the editorial calendar for Workflow to ensure a consistent publishing cadence.
• Pitch and produce original content including long-form articles, executive bylines, and human interest stories.
• Interview subject matter experts and prepare executives for content contributions.
• Analyze content performance metrics to refine future editorial direction.
• Collaborate with marketing, research, and digital experience teams to integrate narratives across channels.
• Maintain quality standards for all internal and external content contributors.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of professional experience in journalism, content strategy, or editorial roles.
• Bachelor degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of pitching original ideas and managing them through the publication lifecycle.
• Strong portfolio showcasing long-form reporting and executive voice content.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including design and leadership teams.

• Expertise in enterprise technology, AI, and the SaaS market.
• Advanced writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in editorial workflow management and calendar maintenance.
• Data literacy for assessing content resonance and performance.
