Staff DevOps Engineer

About the role

This role focuses on building and managing infrastructure for CPQ products while supporting US Federal customers. You will work within a specialized engineering group to maintain secure, scalable, and AI-integrated microservices.

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain infrastructure for CPQ products to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Write and refine software applications using Python.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Operate across GCP, Azure, and AWS, utilizing native services for security and multicloud interoperability.
• Oversee the deployment and monitoring of AI-driven microservices.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent services into production.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the design of new product features.
• Provide technical support for SaaS CPQ solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Experience with software development lifecycles, automation, and CI/CD using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AI/ML microservice integration and applying AI to engineering processes.
• Must be a US citizen, naturalized US citizen, or US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
• Must pass the USFedPASS background screening, including credit, criminal, and drug testing.
• Experience with Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC) or hyperscaler environments operating under FedRAMP/regulated standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI productivity tools such as Cursor or Windsurf.
• Experience with regulated markets on Azure.
