Sr Advisory Solution Consultant- Security, Identity & Exposure Management

About the role

ServiceNow is looking for a technical expert to guide enterprise clients through complex security, identity, and risk management challenges. You will act as a primary advisor to help organizations improve asset visibility and exposure management while driving technical wins during the sales cycle.

What you'll do

• Partner with sales teams to manage technical discovery and design custom solutions.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations for both virtual and in-person audiences.
• Execute proof-of-value and proof-of-concept deployments to validate technical requirements.
• Create technical documentation, solution narratives, and summaries for customer stakeholders.
• Lead training sessions based on specific use cases and findings from validation activities.
• Represent the company at marketing events, webinars, and industry conferences.
• Coordinate with product, marketing, and support teams to relay field feedback.
• Travel between 25% and 50% of the time based on regional business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical or pre-sales roles.
• Proven track record supporting complex cybersecurity or SaaS enterprise sales cycles.
• Deep understanding of identity and access, risk governance, and security operations.
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including firewalls, DNS, NAT, VLANs, routing, and segmentation.
• Experience with network traffic capture methods such as SPAN, TAPs, NetFlow, and packet brokers.
• Ability to explain how security platforms integrate with network environments for data collection.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with technical staff and executive buyers.
• BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with IAM or IGA solutions.
• Background in Security Engineering or Security Operations.
• Experience with asset discovery in IoT, OT, or IoMT environments.
• Knowledge of risk-based vulnerability management programs.
• Proficiency in Linux or Python scripting.
• Relevant technical, cloud, or security certifications.

Practical notes

• Base pay is $168,750 - $240,000 plus equity and variable incentive compensation.
