Finance and Accounting Manager

About the role

Sertis is hiring a Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee both strategic finance and core accounting operations, with responsibilities divided equally between the two areas. You will report directly to C-level leadership, mentor a small team, and collaborate with business units across the organization. This role is central to scaling the finance function as the company continues to grow.

What you'll do

• Drive the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts by partnering with department heads to build, review, and consolidate financial plans
• Deliver financial planning and analysis including variance reviews, KPI tracking, unit economics, and management reporting for executives and the board
• Create and maintain financial models for pricing decisions, project profitability, headcount planning, and scenario analysis
• Oversee treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, daily cash positioning, bank relationships, FX exposure tracking, and liquidity planning
• Collaborate with HR, project managers, and commercial teams to provide financial insight that supports decision-making and working capital improvements
• Contribute to strategic projects such as funding rounds, banking facilities, due diligence, and corporate transactions
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to produce accurate and timely financial statements under TFRS
• Run the full AP and AR cycles covering vendor payments, customer collections, aging analysis, and credit control
• Ensure compliance with Thai tax requirements (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and oversee all filings and submissions
• Serve as the main contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators during the annual audit
• Develop, document, and refine accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures across finance operations
• Identify automation opportunities and improve configuration and module adoption of Odoo for accounting, AP, AR, and treasury
• Coach and support team members handling general ledger, AP, AR, and treasury functions

Requirements

• Thai nationals only
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPD certification required
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in accounting and FP&A roles

Nice to have

• CPA certification
• MBA, CFA, or other advanced professional certification
