What you'll do

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Utilize various measurement tools and techniques to assess product specifications and identify any deviations from quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement quality assurance protocols that enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in root cause analysis for non-conformance issues, working with cross-functional teams to develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality assurance policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
• Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and quality control systems to ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to management for strategic decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies to continuously enhance Bamboohr's quality programs.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing innovative ideas to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that materials meet quality specifications and address any quality-related issues that may arise.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey quality-related information clearly to team members and management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
• A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality management, is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar credentials from recognized professional organizations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to Bamboohr's product lines.
• Previous experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or medical devices, is advantageous.
