About the role
Seesaw is looking for a Product Designer to enhance the global Family Engagement products. This role involves transforming research and strategy into intuitive designs for students, educators, and families across the United States, Middle East, and Latin America. You will contribute to a platform used by millions daily, focusing on improving the learning experience through thoughtful design.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design product experiences for global Family Engagement products, collaborating with Product Management, User Research, and Engineering.
- Contribute to the design system and provide feedback to maintain a consistent user experience.
- Analyze user behavior data using analytics tools to identify growth opportunities and improve products.
- Work with product management and engineering to define product roadmaps that align with company goals.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from users and conduct competitive analysis in target regions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, with 1-2 years in consumer product design at scale.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, design skills, and impact.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability in the design process.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
- Capable of designing at both structural and screen levels, optimizing complex flows and individual pages.
- Proficiency with design tools like Figma.
- Experience using AI tools such as Figma Make or Claude Code for creativity, workflow, and prototyping.
- Experience with responsive design across web, tablet, and phone, and familiarity with various web and mobile design patterns.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Design, User Experience, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with analytics tools like Amplitude, Snowflake, and Datadog.
- 1-2 years of experience in K12 education or education technology.
- Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic language skills.

Practical notes
This remote position requires at least 3 hours of overlap with the distributed team (EST-PST). The hiring salary range is $125,000 - $170,000.
