Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and deploy software for navigation, perception, controls, and networking on autonomous platforms.
- Build system interfaces and APIs to connect cloud services, sensors, and onboard hardware.
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, and robotics engineers to produce functional prototypes under tight deadlines.
- Assist with government demonstrations and hands-on field testing.
Requirements
- Proven background in developing embedded software for autonomous systems and edge hardware.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with real-time embedded systems or robotics frameworks like ROS/ROS2.
- Familiarity with embedded Linux development.
- Knowledge of low-level serial communication protocols including CAN and RS-232.
- Experience with embedded debugging and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with limited resources and aggressive schedules.
